School Year Programs
Throughout the school year we work closely with elementary classes across the Oxford Hills School District. We also host the Roberts Farm Club, an after school club for middle and high school students in the Oxford Hills!
5th Grade Program
Since 2022, Roberts Farm Experiential Learning has partnered with 5th grade classes in MSAD 17, hosting each class on site just about once a month over the course of the school year. No matter which elementary school a 5th grade student attends, they participate in the Roberts Farm program with 8 or 9 visits throughout the year.

Our 5th grade program consists of Experiential STEM lessons, connecting science curriculum with hands on and outdoor learning experiences, and Growing Healthy Kids Lessons which focus on physical activity, including hiking and cross country skiing. Throughout the year, 5th grade classes participate in the 100 Mile Club which encourages students to track their miles and stay motivated to reach physical activity goals.
3rd & 4th Grade Program
Starting in 2024, Roberts Farm Experiential Learning opened its doors to all MSAD 17 3rd and 4th grade students. These students will visit Roberts Farm 4 times throughout the school year and participate in introductory and end of year lessons at their school's garden.

Our 3rd and 4th grade program utilizes Fit Kit, an obesity prevention toolkit developed by the New Balance Foundation and Boston Children's Hospital. Students focus on 5 key topics of health: Physical Activity, Nutrition, Stress, Sedentary Activities, and Sleep. Through movement games, nature-based activities, and hands-on interactive lessons, we hope that students can begin to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
Roberts Farm Club
In 2023 we launched the Roberts Farm Club, a free after school opportunity for local middle and high school students. To learn more about this year's Roberts Farm Club and submit an application, click here!
